Description
Reporting directly to the Accountant, the Finance Assistant assists with the administrative support of all financial activities within the team. These activities include managing the day-to-day banking and petty cash, management of the fixed asset register, assist with motor vehicle management, food & smart rider vouchers and general maintenance of administrative systems.
Main Duties

Key Responsibilities

Undertake administrative tasks in relation to all financial and asset
requirements of St Patrick’s
Maintain and manage the fixed asset register weekly / monthly
Assist in the administration of vehicle management & controls
Petty cash control & banking
Control & management of food & Smart Rider vouchers
Bond administration, monitoring, and processing
Maintain procedures and prepare documentation
Assist in monthly reconciliations

About You

Accounting Qualification - Diploma or higher
Demonstrated relevant experience - including a high level of proficiency in the use of Accounting/Financial Systems

Essential Criteria

Previous accounting & finance experience.
Demonstrated ability to assist in producing accurate & timely financial records and reports.
Strong, organisational, prioritisation and attention to detail.
Strong decision making, problem solving & analytical skills.
Strong customer service focus.
Ability to work under pressure & meet deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
