JCICARE SUPPORT SERVICES is seeking to employ suitable Disability Support Workers with experience to join our growing team in Brisbane. Our participants require only the best So, if you are reliable, compassionate, patient and committed to making a difference, then this position is for you.

Available shifts include daytime, late/evening & sleepovers; flexibility to cover multiple shifts is highly desired. As this position involves working with participants within their own homes, shifts may vary in length from 3 - 8+ hours.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This role involves supporting a young woman who has an Acquired Brain Injury. Our client requires full assistance with all ADL's 24/7. The client also has a PEG and is 2:1 for manual handling (Hoisting). Providing assistance to access the local community, domestic duties and medication administration

**QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE**

Hold a current Cpr and first aid certificate
NDIS workers screening or yellow card and blue Cards
Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain)
Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
Manual handling certificate PEG competency certificate
Have a current drivers licence

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 35 per week

**Salary**: $32.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Day Shift (preferred)
- Night Shift (preferred)
- Overnight Shift (preferred)
