**About the Role**
We are seeking a motivated and community-minded **Range Operator** to join our friendly team at the Murray Bridge Training Area, South Australia.
- This role is about more than just land and range management, it’s about working together to keep our training areas safe, well-maintained, and ready for use by the Defence Forces. You’ll be supported to learn and grow in the role, with the opportunity to complete relevant training and certificates to progress to a Level 3 Range Operator.

**Your work may include**:

- Caring for and managing the land, including grass cutting, tree removal, weed control and pest management.- Supporting emergency response activities, including firefighting when needed.- Operating and maintaining portable target systems.- Working closely with others to ensure the range is safe, secure, and operational.

**What We’re Looking For**

**Ideally, you’ll bring some of the following**:
- Light vehicle licence (HR Truck licence, Backhoe or Plant Operator licence would be great, but not essential).- Bush firefighting qualifications (or willingness to obtain).- Map reading and navigation skills (we can train you if you’re new to this).- Senior First Aid certificate (or ability to gain one).- Clear communication skills and basic computer skills (MS Office).
