Programmed Training Services have opportunities available for keen and reliable people looking for a career pathway as a fully qualified Auto-Electrical and Air-Conditioning Specialist

As an Automotive Electrical and Air Conditioning Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with your hands on some heavy vehicles in one of Australia's largest transport companies, Transit Systems. Working across different sites you will gain the knowledge of what it takes to safely fix and diagnose auto-electrical faults and automotive air-condition units whilst you receive dedicated support from Programmed and your Transit Systems mentor in all aspects of your training and employment.

We have two positions available for enthusiastic people looking to start or continue their Auto-Electrical and Air-Conditioning Specialist apprenticeship in Kingsgrove and Leichhardt.

**About your new role**:

- Fit air conditioning units to vehicles and diagnose faults across the electrical systems
- Repair Electrical circuits and systems
- Trap Store and dispose of old refrigerant gases.
- Modify existing systems and modernise older systems
- Repair faults in the cooling and heating, including all electronics faults across the vehicles
- Work towards a Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology and Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology (Dual Qualification)

- Current drivers' licence
- Safety conscious
- Keen to learn, reliable and committed
- Ability to undertake a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
