**About the facility**

Barwon health is the major regional health provider for the Barwon South West region. It is Victoria’s largest regional health service with one of the busiest hospitals in the state, University Hospital. We serve over 500,000 people through the efforts of over 8,000 staff and more than 1000 volunteers. We provide care at all stages or life and circumstance through a wide range of services from emergency and acute to mental health, primary care, community services, aged care, and subacute/rehabilitation. Care and Support services is provided to the community through over 28 key locations throughout the region.

McKellar Centre provides Support services to Aged Care, Rehab, Mental health and Children’s rehabilitation, through cleaning ad meal delivery.

**About the role**

Do you have cleaning and Food service experience and would like to work in our friendly and well supported team? As an Environmental Services Project Cleaner your responsibilities may include:
1. Cleaning and Housekeeping

2. Food and Beverage

3. Ward Support

4. Transporting

5. Nursing Assistance

You will be required to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff; in accordance with Victorian Healthcare Cleaning Standards, and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Including effective and efficient cleaning of the facility; including public, staff, and inpatient, residential and clinical areas; together with the operation of the waste disposal and recycling systems. It is also essential you hold a current Food Handlers Certificate, as you are required to transport and serve Inpatient/ Residential Meals and Beverages.

Available shifts are as follows:

- AM Shift hours are 0630 - 1500
- PM Shift hours are 1130-2000hrs and/or 1600-2000hrs
