Our Maritime and Critical Infrastructure team provides innovative products, designs and consultancy services to the Maritime Infrastructure and Critical Infrastructure sectors through the lifecycle of an asset to ensure it is optimised in its design and cost and operates safely and efficiently.
To continue our success, we are looking for an experienced **Programme Manager - Maritime & Critical** **Infrastructure** to join our team who will lead the customer and project delivery focus within the specific programme area and be responsible for delivering programme growth through effective customer relationships supported by effective programme and project delivery principals.
**Responsible for Operational Excellence within the specific Programme Area**:
- Provision of effective leadership within the Programme Area to meet strategic business outcomes and deliver project excellence to clients.
- Lead project governance activities to manage risk and ensure delivery outcomes are achieved, including but not limited to contract compliance, quality, assurance, and profitability.
- Working collaboratively with the PMO to support the development and implementation of best practice project delivery.
- Timelines and accuracy in meeting Asia Pac and Global reporting requirements.
- Development of an effective Client Management regime to evolve transactional relationships into trusted partnerships.
- Build on BMT's brand awareness by providing customers with quality outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with Future Business in driving organic growth.
- Development and maintenance of a quality pipeline that supports Programme objectives and provides a basis for forecasting resource and capability requirements.
- Achievement of a high Pwin for bids through early customer engagement, value-adding Gate processes, quality bid development and collaborating across BMT's diverse skills and knowledge
**Responsible for Programme leadership**:
- Establish a collaborative, inclusive, teamwork, safety, and success culture.
- The 'Team' includes all who support Programme objectives, including, but not limited to, Capability, PMO, and Global Business Services.
- Ensuring employee health, safety and well-being is a priority and a key mantra when selecting and executing Projects.
- Lead a Programme wide 'Best for BMT' approach when collaborating with other Programmes and Regional Businesses.
- Always searching for better ways of achieving outcomes and not accepting of 'that's how we have always done it.'
**Line Management responsibility**:
- Ensuring employee well-being and development.
- Responsible for providing accurate and informative feedback in support of Performance Reviews.
- Where Capability Managers/Leads visit our teams onsite, ensure they are knowledgeable about the client and projects, and offer another mechanism for client intelligence/engagement.
- Interesting and challenging work provided by the Programmes is integral to employee satisfaction and professional development.
- Promote the BMT Diversity and Inclusion Strategy.
- Work with key stakeholders to develop and deliver Programme specific training and provide development opportunities.
**You will have**:
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in end-to-end contract and project management and project delivery, including client-side project management.
- Ability to demonstrate experience in large scale program development, management, and implementation or similar fields, including program-level cost estimating systems and risk management (claims management, schedule, budget, etc.).
