Part-time hours: 6-20 per week

Full-time hours: 36 per week

Hourly Rate: $44.20 per hour

Bridges Multisensory Learning Centre is dedicated to assisting students who have learning difficulties which prevent them from accessing learning in a conventional way such as in a classroom. We provide 1-to-1 sessions, so that students can explicitly learn language or maths which is tailored to their individual needs. Some of the learning difficulties students can have are dyslexia, attention deficit disorder or auditory processing disorder.

Applicants should be currently completing or have completed a bachelor's or master's degree and have experience teaching/tutoring students. A cover letter explaining why you are suited to a supportive role for students who have learning difficulties such as dyslexia would be useful.

Bridges provides 10-12 hours of initial language training and 4-6 hours of maths training. We also provide ongoing mentoring to help applicants develop thorough and explicit teaching skills to aid students who have learning challenges.
