**THE ROLE**

**National Self Insurance** is an arm of EML that caters to employer’s who are self-insured for their workers compensation requirements and have partnered with EML to administer their claims management function.

We now have an opportunity available for an **Fast Track Case Manager** to join our team to provide support to a major client based in NSW, playing a pivotal role in the claims management process. You’ll feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.

The purpose of this role is to pro-actively finalise workers compensation claims by liaising with providers to ensure accounts have been paid prior to their finalisation. The role will allow for the training and development into a Case Management role and the management of a portfolio of workers compensation claims in accordance with EML’s guidelines, policies and procedures.

This will be a **full time, permanent** position based in the **Parramatta, Newcastle or Brisbane** offices, with flexibility to work from home.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure that active and timely intervention occurs to improve recovery and return to work outcomes
- Provide workers compensation advice to stakeholders such as workers, employers and providers
- Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Assist the worker and employer with the claim process and providing support in the completion of relevant documents to ensure timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery
- Pro-actively proceed with appropriate case management to achieve the optimum outcome of early sustainable return to work for workers with reasonable claim costs

**ABOUT YOU**
- Previous workers comp claims experience is not necessary
- Strong customer service focused background
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with constant feedback and learning on the job
- Well versed in handling difficult conversations and showing empathy
- Provide excellent customer service and build strong collaborative relationships with our customers
- Effectively listen and understand the needs of the customer and what is important to them to enable their recovery and return to work
