**Your Role**:
We have numerous openings for experienced Youth Workers to join our Drake Medox team This role is focused on supporting children and young people with disabilities in respite or long-term care settings on a rotating 24/7 roster. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference in young peoples' lives, as well as enhance your skills and knowledge with ongoing training opportunities. **Duties**:

- Building trust and rapport with children, young people, and their families
- Working closely with families, carers, and stakeholders to provide the most supportive and safe environment for the people we support
- Working creatively to support our clients to engage in activities in ways that are meaningful to them
- Providing true, authentic, and compassionate companionship
- Following plans and procedures to ensure clients' wellbeing and safety
- Approaching barriers with patience, resilience, and compassion
- Managing challenging situations, behaviours, and incidents
- Maintaining accurate records and following reporting procedures
- Medication Administration, Personal Care, Mealtime Management, General Household Tasks

**You **must** currently have**:

- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
- Working With Children Check
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
- Valid Australian Drivers Licence & Comprehensive Third-Party Insurance
- Proof of COVID Vaccinations
- Strong industry experience
- Cert III or IV in Individual Support, Youth Work, or in a relevant field
- Demonstrated strong industry experience and reliability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
