Pricing Specialist

**Create impact as a CTP Pricing Specialist**

**Your Role**

As a Pricing Specialist across our Direct Insurance Australia (DIA) Division, you will deliver on IAG's CTP pricing strategy through developing and maintaining technical pricing models, recommendation of commercial rates and relativities, as well as supporting IAG and external stakeholders covering claims, premiums and business mix trends, underlying risks and issues.

You'll collaborate with the Executive Manager, CTP and CTP portfolio managers as well external stakeholders, including regulators and peer review partners.

**This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in either Sydney or Melbourne.**

**About You**
- Solid experience in General Insurance pricing or reserving, with experience in long tail products highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of actuarial valuation techniques
- Familiarity with pricing techniques and models such as GLM & GBM.
- Demonstrated experienced with SAS, SQL, R or equivalent
- Ideally qualified or nearly qualified Fellow with the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent body
- Tertiary qualifications in numerical or analytical disciplines i.e. Mathematics, Finance or Statistics or Actuarial related field with demonstrated experience.
