As an airline representative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient operation of our flights at the airport.

You are to report to the Station Manager at Sydney airport and working within a team with other airport services officers at T1 Sydney Airport.

You are expected to:

- strictly following the law, regulations, and company policies regarding aviation safety in all aspects.
- overseeing the work of ground handling agents, who provide various services such as check-in, boarding, baggage handling, catering, and ramp operations.
- helping customers to resolve problems with booking, changing, or cancelling their reservations and issuing tickets, vouchers, or refunds
- assisting customers with special needs or requests, such as wheelchair service, seat assignments, or dietary preferences
- handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner
- selling extra services such as upgrades, or extra baggage, to customers and processing payments
- collecting and reporting information for analysing market trends, customer feedback, and competitors’ performance
- preparing and submitting required reports on the airline’s financial, operational, or other indicators, such as revenue, expenses, passenger traffic, etc.
- reviewing and updating the airline’s policies, procedures, or standards to ensure compliance with regulations, contracts, or best practices
- identifying and communicating issues, risks, or opportunities for improvement or innovation
- providing feedback and recommendations to senior management or stakeholders on the airline’s performance, challenges, or goals
- using software tools or systems to collect, store, process, visualize, or share data and information

to be successful, you will have:

- A bachelor degree or equivalent
- Good communication skills in both Chinese and English
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Flexibility and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Previous experience in the aviation industry is preferred

It is a condition precedent that you are eligible and capable of obtaining an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), which is an identification card that verifies that you have undergone a background check and that authorises you to access the secure areas of security controlled airports that have regular public transport services, without requiring escort.
