**Status**:Permanent Part-Time position (56 hours per fortnight),**Sunday to Tuesday 5:00am - 1.30pm (and every second Wednesday 5:00am - 1.30pm)

**We will trust you to bring**:

- Experience in operating Plant / Machinery
- HR / MR driver’s licence or relevant other certified qualifications
- A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
- Experience in dealing with members of the public.
- An ability to perform duties with mínimal supervision.
- A willingness to comply with all Council’s policies and procedures

**Things you will do**:

- Perform duties with mínimal supervision, while also being able to work in a team environment
- Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of plant vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial and Council policy requirements and standards in the areas of Equal Employment Opportunity; Work, Health and Safety and Rehabilitation; and environmental protection.
- Ensure an ethic with the focus on quality customer service that is responsive to the needs of the community.
- Ensure vehicle maintenance check sheets are completed daily, identifying and reporting any damage or mechanical repairs needed and be responsible for
the general cleanliness and appearances of Council’s vehicle whilst under your control
- Exercise all delegated responsibilities in a diligent manner
