We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technology Risk Specialist to join our IT Governance & Transformation team in North Sydney.
This is your opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing technology risk across the enterprise—enhancing our risk maturity and strengthening the control environment that protects our people, data, and systems—with a strong focus on the Integrated Compliance & Internal Framework (ICIF) and business technology resilience.

So, what’s the job?
Reporting to the Head of IT Governance & Transformation. You will shape and drive technology risk.
Assess and monitor technology risks, ensuring alignment with ICIF and other compliance frameworks
Maintain the technology risk register and lead the development of risk mitigation plans
Ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements, managing audits and reviews
Collaborate with stakeholders to embed risk-aware practices and uplift risk maturity across technology functions
Support the development of risk-related policies, procedures, and governance reporting
Provide expert guidance on risk controls, while liaising with auditors, regulators, and internal team
And what are we looking for?
You’ll have proven experience in technology risk, IT audit, or compliance roles within complex, regulated environments
You’ll have experience working within Line 2 risk (Line 1 ideal)
You’ll bring a strong knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL or C-Risk is essential)
You’ll have expertise in risk profiling, control management, and audit response
You’ll possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail
You’ll have the ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance across diverse teams
You’ll be adaptable and open to flexible working hours to support cross-region collaboration
