**The Company**
Our client is a very well-regarded organisation, who offer a range of critical community support services, and work hard to make a difference in times of need. They require a dynamic and skilled Finance Officer to join their team for temporary to permanent opportunity, immediate start required.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and contributing to the effective management of resources.

**About the Role**:

- Managing financial transactions including **accounts payable and receivable**, invoicing, and payroll processing
- Preparing financial reports and statements, including monthly management accounts and annual financial statements
- Coordinating the annual budget process and monitoring actuals against budget
- Assisting with the audit process and implementing recommendations for improvements
- Contributing to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
- Supporting the Finance Manager in ad hoc projects and tasks as required

**About You**:

- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Great attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software programs
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
