Excellent opportunity for a Security Consultant to step up into a Security Lead role

**Your new company**
An opportunity for a IT Security Lead to work with a well-renowned Government Education Provider in Technology based out of Dandenong.

**Your new role**
As a part of their IT Team, you’ll be responsible for continuous uplift and improvement of information security and cybersecurity capabilities at the institute along with:

- Provide recommendations and implement Cyber and IT security strategies
- Build Incident Response capability and do security uplift in terms of VPDSF, ISO27001, Essential 8
- Developing security related plans and solutions that meet business needs
- Engaging with business and technology stake holders

**What you'll need to succeed**
You’ll have a passion for cybersecurity and leadership, along with:

- Expertise in development and delivery of a comprehensive information security architecture and security uplifts
- Proven experience in Security Protocols, Frameworks & Standards like VPDSF, ISO27001, Essential 8
- Lead the identification of key enterprise risks and develop & deliver achievable security roadmaps
- Excellent stake holder management skills
