We are on the lookout for casual or part-time **Assistants in Nursing** **to join our team at **Aubrey Downer**, in Point Clare.

Reporting to the Director of Nursing, you will work closely with our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities. You will possess highly developed communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively in an inter-disciplinary team and make meaningful connections with our residents and their families.

Now... before we can set you loose in the home** **and (more importantly) introduce you to our residents, we need to ensure you possess:

- Certificate III or IV qualification in Aged Care or related field
- Ability to follow nursing procedures as directed and in line with resident care plans
- Ability to work as a team player with strong communication skills
- Compassionate, dedicated and caring nature with the frail & vulnerable
- Ability to report and document nursing care procedures
- Knowledge and understanding of the Aged Care Act (1997)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
- Computer skills
- Current 2021 Influenza Vaccination, or willingness to vaccinate
- Full work rights in Australia
