**Job Description**:
Working with direction from the Director Operations you will lead the delivery of projects to successfully enable capability uplift for our clients. This will include a variety of consultancy and transformation projects for high profile infrastructure organisations across multiple sectors. Though we work across several sectors, this position requires rail sector work experience. In addition, you must be based in Perth or willing to relocate to Perth.
- Lead the development and delivery of strategic asset management consulting projects and programs in the rail sector and other asset-intensive industries.
- Lead the development of key artifacts for clients such as asset management policies, asset class strategies, strategic asset management plans and asset management plans.
- Lead the review and improvement of business management frameworks in areas such as risk, cost, performance, and decision-making, both at the corporate and the asset level.
- Assist or lead the client delivery of asset management maturity assessment and the development of recommendations and roadmap for improvement.
- Deliver across multiple client engagements simultaneously, whilst ensuring effective resource management, quality, and timeliness.
- Facilitate workshops with multiple stakeholders, ensuring effective coaching and knowledge transfer to the team and peers.
- Further develop AMCL service offerings in collaboration with the global AMCL consulting team.
- Regularly consult with clients and strengthen existing relationships, whilst also identifying business opportunities in new and existing markets.
- Develop client solutions for pursuits, develop proposals and drive business development opportunities in collaboration with your colleagues.
- Review and negotiate contractual obligations with clients (consulting engagement contracts).
**Qualifications**:
- Degree qualified in an Engineering discipline or equivalent rail industry experience.
- Solid experience within the rail sector, ideally 10+ years of experience. Understand how the rail sector operates, companies’ challenges, and how to implement successful capability uplift.
- Consultancy experience such that you are capable of operating effectively as a consultant - managing clients, scoping and delivering projects and deliverables, and developing opportunities.
- Project management experience, able to drive activities towards an agreed outcome, on time and budget.
- Demonstrable commitment to and skills for developing the performance of colleagues.
- Strong communication and workshop facilitation skills.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Takes personal responsibility for own work and the work of colleagues, ensuring that it is always of a high standard.
- Willingness to commit the additional time and effort necessary during periods of heavy workload.
- A network of industry contacts, and a demonstrated active participation in industry events.
