Care Services Team Leader

**Introduction**:
CRCS is looking for a Care Services Team Leader to build and support an exceptional team of home support workers The Care Services Team Leader will support CRCS Community Care Program in planning and delivering a range of services to older people and people with a disability. The role will support participants to live well and safe in their own homes The Care Services Team Leader will recruit, supervise and develop the CRCS Support Worker team to provide high quality care to participants in their own homes and within the community and will ensure services are delivered in alignment with CRCS policies and procedures and are complaint with the Quality Aged Care Standards and other legislation such as Privacy Act.
The Care Services Team Leader will work at participant’s homes, community locations and at the office. CRCS is a great organisation with an even greater work culture, we are a family friendly and flexible employer.
**Description**:
**Duties include**:
Recruitment, Induction and training of new home support workers
Training and development of home support worker team
Collaborating with the Roster Officer
Ensuring optimum care is delivered at all times
Advocacy to achieve best outcomes for the participants
Understanding and complying to the CHSP and CASP contracts and individual HCP funding
Monthly reporting to Program Manager
Creation and maintenance of a quality improvement plan
**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful you will**:
Hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Aging, or other equivalent qualifications
Have experience providing direct support
Display strong reporting and communication skills
Exhibit excellent problem-solving abilities.
Poses good IT skills and experience in client management systems.
Strong time management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple services
Have a proven ability to manage multiple teams with positive results.
Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and from position of trust.
Uphold the CRCS Vision, Purpose, Values and Strategic Goals
Possess the personal attributes of optimism, resilience and flexibility.
Have a strong understanding of changing standards and codes of conduct in the industry.
Possess the ability to resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
Hold current first aid and CPR qualification
**Highly regarded**:
Experience in a supervisory capacity within Disability or Aging support
Mental Health First Aid
Training and Support (i.e Train the Trainer) qualification
**CRCS also requires all employees to**:
- Hold or be willing to obtain a satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People registration (ACT) and/or a Working with Children Check (NSW), and have these with them at all times whilst employed by CRCS.
- Undertake a National Criminal History Clearance by CRCS prior to commencing and every three years thereafter as a condition of employment. Employees are required to advise CRCS of any convictions that may effect their eligibility to work or perform the inherent requirements of their position
- Maintain full COVID-19 vaccination currency and provide evidence of their vaccinations to CRCS (sensitive information is kept private and in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles) unless they are able to provide suitable evidence of a medical contraindication that prevents them from receiving this vaccine.
