Job Title: Sales and IT/POS Support Technician

Type: Full-time

We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT/POS System Support Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our point-of-sale (POS) systems, including hardware, software, and peripherals. You will also provide technical support to our staff and customers, troubleshoot issues, and escalate complex problems to senior technical staff or vendors.

IT Technician Responsibilities:

- Install, configure, and maintain POS hardware and software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues related to the POS systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and updates on the POS systems.
- Train staff and customers on the proper use and maintenance of the POS systems.
- Document all support activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve complex issues or escalate as needed.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in POS systems and related software.

Sales Key Responsibilities:

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of our products and services, their features, and benefits
- Manage and maintain a sales pipeline, accurately tracking all interactions and communications with prospects and clients
- Schedule and conduct product demos and presentations for potential clients
- Develop and deliver sales proposals and quotes that accurately reflect the needs of potential clients
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and customer success, to ensure a smooth and successful sales process
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote our products and services

Qualifications:

- Associate's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a technical support role, preferably with POS systems.
- Strong knowledge of POS hardware and software, including peripherals such as scanners, printers, and cash drawers.
- Familiarity with networking and security concepts related to POS systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
