Instructional Designer

Are you passionate about driving learning strategies that empower individuals within an organisation? We have partnered with a Victorian Government emergency services organisation to find an experienced Instructional Designer to join their Frontline Learning and Development Team.

**About the Role**

We are seeking a dedicated Coordinator Learning and Development to play a pivotal part in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of the organisation’s Training Program. Working closely with senior internal and external stakeholders, you will ensure the successful delivery of training to members across Victoria.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Lead the design and development of face-to-face and digital learning programs, ensuring strategic value and relevance.
- Manage Program training documentation, including scheduling, records, database maintenance, and credit transfers.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design and deliver the Program.
- Champion best practice learning and development initiatives.
- Assist in the creation of engaging learning materials for online and face-to-face training using software like Articulate Rise and Storyline 360.
- Work with the ICT Learning Management System team to advise on the hosting of learning content.
- Analyse data, prepare reports, and present findings to support training planning and monitoring.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A tertiary qualification in training, education, learning design, or a related field. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent is also advantageous.
- Extensive experience in instructional design within large, complex environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in contemporary learning strategies and methodologies.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
