The Doss House is an award-winning heritage underground whiskey bar with a stylish vintage interior allowing you to easily feel transported back to another time. - Venue Managers

**As a Manager within the heritage House Group, you will;**
- Have at least 3+ years previous Venue Manager experience.
- Be career driven with a real passion for the hospitality industry.
- Always maintain exceptional presentation and grooming.
- Have a great eye for detail.
- Understand what it is to go ‘the extra mile’ for the guest.
- Be passionate about team training and development.
- Have a genuine interest in whiskey & premier service.
- Be able to work a flexible roster including weekends, & some public holidays.
- Have extensive cocktail & whiskey knowledge.
- Have clear communication & be well organised.
- Have extensive experience in managing, leading & motivating a driven team.
- Have strong financial acumen, relevant to labour & cost control - meeting budgets and targets will be vital to succeed in this role.
- Be able to make a significant contribution to the success of the brand.

**Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;**
- Oversee the daily venue operations, ensuring smooth service, exceptional guest experiences, and compliance with quality & service standards.
- Build & lead a high-performing enthusiastic team, providing guidance & training, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and exceptional service.
- Rostering staff, approving staff hours, forwarding leave requests to the Group GM.
- Be responsible for the daily reconciliation venue revenue, oversee weekly stocktakes, and provide weekly summary venue report to the Group GM.
- Build relationships with the local authorities, licensing, heritage, landlord to continue our successful bonds with those key stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, adapt strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
- Liaise with the marketing & functions to ensure the smooth delivery of events.

This position requires a minimum of 3+ years Venue Manager experience operating a similar style of venue. An in-depth understanding of spirits & service systems is a pre-requisite for consideration in this role. You have the opportunity to bring your personality and sense of fun to work and will have the ability to shape the venue.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
