Hospitality Management Trainer & Assessor - Casual/Part-Time

Brighton College is an Australian **Registered Training Organisation (RTO)** with campuses in **Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Hobart**. We specialise in **Hospitality, Business, Information Technology, and Community Services** and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, industry-relevant training to our students.

We are Looking for Trainer & Assessor to deliver:

- **SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management**:

- **SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management**

**Key responsibilities will include but are not limited**

As a **Hospitality Management Trainer & Assessor**, you will:

- Deliver **Cert IV in Kitchen Management or and Diploma of Hospitality Management courses**:

- Conduct **both theory and practical** training in a commercial setting
- Guide students on **real-world hospitality operations**, including food & beverage, front office, and event management
- Develop and enhance **learning and assessment materials**:

- Conduct **assessments** in line with RTO and compliance standards
- Maintain **detailed records** of student attendance and progress
- Participate in **validation sessions** to ensure training quality

**Selection Criteria**

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- **Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent**:

- Minimum **2 years of local industry experience** in hospitality management
- Relevant vocational qualifications at **Diploma level or higher** in Hospitality Management
- Experience working in **hotels, restaurants, or event management**:

- Previous **training experience (preferred but not essential)**:

- Knowledge of **LMS (Moodle) and student management systems is a plus**:

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- A commitment to **ongoing professional development**

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
