**About the OPPORTUNITY**

As the Training Coordinator, you’ll be coordinating and contributing to the learning and development activities to support the business in developing a workforce that meets the current and future business objectives.

This role will be based at Williamtown in NSW and is open to the 9-day fortnight.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Coordinating learning and development activities
- Developing training plans
- Delivering training, including planning and scheduling and workplace inductions
- Planning and conducting assessments, including verification of competencies (VoC)
- Preparing and developing training materials
- Contributing to the Training Needs Analysis process
- Document management to support the training management system
- Generating reports to assist with the analysis of learning and development activities and providing training status updates
- Providing information and advice on training and assessment services

**KEY CRITERIA**:

- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Working experience in an aviation trade environment to support the various programs/ projects within the business
- Working experience in the Vocational Education Training (VET) sector
- Previous experience in learning management systems and content management systems
- Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under their own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality, safety and cost
- Ability to create outcomes from discussions across a wide spectrum of skill, background and viewpoints
- Well-developed ability to embrace change, learn new technologies and work under pressure
- Ability to motivate individuals and teams in the area of learning and development, to support the achievement of business requirements
- Continuous improvement mind-set with a solution focused approach
- Ability to present a case (verbally and/or written) in a persuasive and convincing manner to a variety of audiences (technical, business, management, suppliers)
- B1/B2 Military Aircraft Maintenance Licence (MAML) for the aircraft types within the business (desirable)
- NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain in addition to eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
