The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government’s cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_ What you’ll be doing_**

The purpose of this role is to support the implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of a range of projects to achieve strategic and operational objectives for the Cancer Screening and Prevention Division. This will include supporting the new lung cancer screening program implementation, and for quality improvement initiatives for the division.

**_ Remuneration/Benefits_**

In addition to base salary:

- 11.5% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days sick leave
- 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to deliver and meet project objectives and requirements.
- Tertiary and/or postgraduate qualification in an appropriate discipline such as health, public health or health promotion or equivalent and relevant professional experience and training.
- An understanding of the NSW and or federal health system including a knowledge of relevant trends, issues, policies and practices.

**_ Pre-screening questions_**
- Please outline an example that demonstrates your experience in providing project support to a complex project with multiple competing priorities. What was your role, what were some of the challenges you faced and how did you overcome them to make sure the project was successfully implemented?
- Outline a time when you needed to communicate with a group of external stakeholders to meet project objectives and requirements. What approach did you take to identify all relevant stakeholders, and what communication channels did you adopt for successful engagement.
