How you will make an impact:
Join Cabrini Health as a Social Worker Clinical Lead, providing clinical leadership for Social Workers. Drive excellence in care and a culture of collaborative support within the Social Work team. Develop clinical and professional skills through supervisory practice and mentorship while maintaining a clinical caseload.
The Social Worker Clinical Lead will possess a comprehensive understanding of organizational and health influences on tertiary health service provision. With the support of the Head of OT and Manager of Social Work, they will lead continuous service development and align the Social Work service with Cabrini's strategic direction. By engaging stakeholders, interdisciplinary teams, and professional networks, the Clinical Lead will establish strong partnerships and practices to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
This is a part-time position with flexible work arrangements available. This role may involve travel between Cabrini sites.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership for Social Workers at Cabrini Health.- Drive excellence in care and foster a culture of collaborative support within the Social Work team.- Develop clinical and professional skills within the team through contemporary supervisory practice and mentorship.- Maintain a clinical caseload while fulfilling leadership responsibilities.- Understand broader organization and health influences on tertiary health service provision, leading continuous service development in alignment with Cabrini's strategic direction.
About you
You are an experienced and dynamic Social Worker who is passionate about delivering high-quality psychosocial support services in line with Cabrini's mission and values. With eligibility for membership to the AASW and a minimum of 10 years of post-graduate experience, you have demonstrated leadership skills and a commitment to ongoing professional development. A strong background in delivering Social Work services in a tertiary setting and knowledge of the private healthcare system are desirable.
You will have:
- Eligibility for membership to the AASW (essential)- Minimum of 10 years well consolidated post-graduate experience- Experience in leadership roles- Post-entry/post-graduate Masters Degree (or equivalent) or above in a relevant area- Demonstrated experience in leadership and staff management, including delivery of Social Work services in a tertiary setting- Desirable: knowledge of the private healthcare system
