Lead Developmental Gymnastics Instructor

The Little Gym is the world’s leading motor skills development program for children aged 4 months to 12 years. The program uses gymnastics as a tool for teaching children motor skills together with exclusive music and activities including balls and games to help enhance physical, emotional, perceptual, social and cognitive development.

Our classes are taught by highly qualified and rigorously trained staff with a love of children. Our classes are designed to teach children in a safe but challenging, fun environment. Children at The Little Gym are encouraged to develop individually in a non-competitive environment which will nurture self-confidence leading to success in all aspects of future life.

The Little Gym of Dural has been open for over 6 years and we are looking to grow the team. We are looking for a physically fit, energetic and enthusiastic team player.

**Details of Position**

We are looking for two casual/part-time instructors with excellent communication skills. The instructors will spend most of the time leading and assisting in curriculum based gymnastic classes to children aged 4 months -12 years. The instructor will also be expected to talk to potential members and assist with the day to day routine of the gym and assist in administration tasks.

**Qualifications**

We are looking for someone with a background in gymnastics or another sport. You must love being with children and experience working with children is an advantage. A good telephone manner and ability to communicate with parents is also looked for.

**Essential Requirements**
- Working with Children Check
- Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Background in any sports
- Willingness to learn

**Desirable Requirements**
- Experience with children
- Background in gymnastics

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Weekend availability
