We seek a reliable, experienced Warehouse Assistant to join our client's team in Richlands for a permanent. The Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials, organising inventory, and assisting with general warehouse duties.

**Duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Operate forklift equipment to move and stack materials as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction.
- Always adhere to safety regulations and protocols.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment.
- A valid Forklift licence is preferred.
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Manual Handling experience.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

**Working Hours**:
The regular hours for this position will be from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with a half-hour lunch break. (38 normal hours per week + 2 hours of overtime per week at time and a half). - The rate of the Warehouse Assistant will be up to $30.00/h permanent, depending on experience.
