- Due to increase in global project requirements within the Research & Development team, a new opportunity has arisen for a
- **R&D Scientific Technician **to join high profile research focused laboratory based team for the development & implementation of high quality bioassays.**About the Opportunity**:
Working within a global team, key responsibilities include the following:
- Provide well developed bioassay development for novel protein based biologic therapies & vaccines.
- Maintain awareness of scientific strategies in bioassay development using analytical techniques as ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD).
- Work within laboratory developing high quality bioassays in preclinical & clinical development of products.
- Ensure documentation & laboratory notes & research ensuring projects are updated to electronica Laboratory Notebook guidelines.
- Prepare clear standard SOP's, contributing to validation protocols & scientific reports.
- Effectively liaise with Senior Scientists & Research Scientists for the planning & carrying out of experimental work.

**About You**:
- Tertiary or Postgraduate Degree in Science.
- Sound laboratory skills with at least 3 years in clinical & pre-clinical development of biopharmaceuticals.
- Hands on assay development experience of novel biomarkers using analytical techniques such as ligand binding assays. (ELISA, MSD)
- Specific experience in pharmaceutical environment highly desirable.
- Highly motivated self starter & ability to work as part of a team.
- Great troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Sound MS Office Software skills.
