**The Opportunity**

Come and discover the opportunity to join our **Metalcorp **business in our **Kewdale** team as a **Warehouse Team Member**. Metalcorp is a leading rural Australian steel distributor, supplying brands for the land through our branches and stockists across Australia.

You’ll be responsible for receiving, receipting and storing materials, assembling and loading orders, despatch duties and equipment operation. In addition, you will have the opportunity to show-case your energy and passion supporting a collaborative warehouse team.

This is a Monday to Friday role, working a 38-hour week within the trading hours of 7:30am to 4:30pm.

**What Will You Do?**

This role will offer variety and scope for an enthusiastic team player who enjoys the full spectrum of a busy workplace. In addition to general warehousing duties, you’ll be responsible for the following**:

- operate heavy machinery to process our steel products
- safely loading and unloading our products on and off trucks
- operate remote control gantry cranes and forklifts as well as some manual handling tasks
- accurately pick and pack orders to prepare for customer delivery
- successfully contribute to a safe working environment
- maintaining and enhancing relationships with external and internal customers including the Sales and Warehousing teams within the Branch and Orrcon Distribution Centre (DC)
- having high attention-to-detail and accountability ensuring positive impact to the business
