**Location: Bathurst & Bourke**
**Full-time, x1 ongoing and x1 temporary opportunity**
**Grade 3/4 -**$82,193 - $90,001 p.a.**+ superannuation and annual leave loading**
**Flexible working hours, 35-hour week and flex leave**

**Additional weeks recreation leave available due to location for Bourke Grouping only**

**Bourke Grouping covers locations at Bourke, Brewarrina, Cobar, Walgett, Nyngan**

**Your role**

As a Casework Support Worker, you will help caseworkers in their day-to-day work supporting children, young people, families and communities in varied and challenging circumstances.
- Assist caseworkers prepare documentation and help with case planning for children and young people.
- Source and share information about families and make relevant referrals and appointments.
- Maintain timely client and casework records, including client information system records.
- Supervise “low risk” family contact visits and prepare summary reports which accurately record observations

**What we’re looking for**
- Someone who has some community work experience in working with vulnerable and diverse groups.
- Strong record keeping experience or the willingness to learn.
- Someone who supports the work of caseworkers and understands the complex and challenging situations for some disadvantaged families.
- A valid driver’s licence as occasional travel will be required.
- National Criminal History Record Check in accordance with the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
- Working with Children Check clearance in accordance with the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012
