We are looking for caring Dental Assistant & Reception staff who can play an important part in our dental practice providing specialist dental services. This key position will focus predominantly on patient care, communication as well as some administration duties. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality, patient focused care seeking a vibrant, engaging, and resourceful member to enhance our dental team. You will work alongside specialist dentist, existing support staff to carry out dental treatment/root canal therapy. We are looking for reliable, hard-working team member who will become part of our practice for the long term. The role will be a fulltime position with immediate start.

Although, training will be provided, prior experience in a Dental Receptionist or Dental Assistant role would be beneficial. Would welcome eagerness to learn new skills with opportunities for continuing professional training and career development.

**About the Position**

It is expected that Reception staff have the skills to assist in the surgery when required and Dental Assistants are expected to be able to assist at the front desk from time to time.
- Reliable, punctual
- Good communication skills
- Friendly and caring personality
- Dental Assistant Certificate III or IV preferred or willingness to complete
- Previous experience in dental Assisting/reception with Infection control knowledge will be an advantage
- Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and instrument storage preferable

**Duties**:

- Providing chair-side assistance (e.g. handing equipment to dentists and instrument setup)
- Assisting with administrative tasks as needed (e.g. billing, maintaining patient records)
- Routinely maintaining and sterilising equipment
- Assisting with front office tasks as needed (e.g. reception)

**Salary**: Up to $90,450.00 per year
