**Trade Overseer - General Industries 5D & 7D St Heliers Correctional Centre**

**Location**:St Heliers**Correctional Centre Muswellbrook

**Employment type**:2X Ongoing, Full Time 1x 7D & 1x 5D
**Salary**:$91,705 pa + Incidental Allowance + Leave Loading + Superannuation

We are looking for two proactive and dedicated Trade Overseer’s to work at our General Industries Unit at the St Heliers Correctional Centre.

**Your Role**:
You will supervise and develop inmates through managing, coaching, instructing, and encouraging them, as members of a team, in order that they may improve their work skills, enhance their post-release employment prospects, and contribute productively to Service/Business Unit objectives.

Oversee the activities of the team to ensure productivity efficiency and other commercial objectives are achieved whilst ensuring all Workplace Health & Safety, Quality Management requirements and customer service needs are met.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Current Certificate III in Correctional Practice or the capacity to complete Certificate III in Correctional Practice in accordance with specified CSNSW timeframes
- Current NSW Driver Licence and preparedness to drive a vehicle while performing the role.
- Relevant trade qualifications: Commercial Cookery, Carpentry, Food, Warehousing and Logistics, Laundry, Horticulture, Cleaning Operations, Green Keeping, Landscaping, Textiles, or equivalent Certificate III trade qualification.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proven post trade experience
- Experience which demonstrates the ability to meet the key accountabilities and focus capabilities as detailed in the role description.
- Ability and willingness to work across trades as required.
