This government organisation supports defence force personnel and their families through the provision of mental health assessments, counselling and ongoing support.
**Your new role**
As the Assistant Director Clinical Coordination, you will undertake line management and supervision responsibilities for members of the Complex Case Management Team. You will also be responsible for line management, supervision and leadership for members of the Community Engagement Team.Your duties will include;
- Recruitment, selection, induction, development, and performance management of Complex Case Management and Community Engagement teams;
- Oversee the quality of client care by providing clinical oversight and complex case management;
- Establish and maintain effective strategic relationships with specialist service providers and develop relevant referral pathways;
- Participate in clinical and team meetings, and contribute to the management, departmental projects and committees.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Qualifications must be that of a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, or Nurse with mental health experience
- Qualified Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Nurses must have current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA).
- Mental health accredited Social Workers must be registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
- Experience with Complex Case Management and in managing and leading clinical teams.
