**About the Position** We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining mechanical systems and components.

**Your duties will include**:

- Installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and components.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable tools, method and sequence of operations
- fitting parts into products and assembling subassemblies to produce equipment
- diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and equipment
- use precision measuring instruments to check parts for accuracy and fit
- maintain and repair mechanical systems on various transport equipment to operational standards

**Skills and Qualifications Required**:

- Proficiency in mechanical system assembly and maintenance.
- Experience in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics.
- A strong commitment to safety in the workplace.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical systems effectively.
- Team player mentality and ability to work collaboratively.
