Welcome to Morayfield State School
Situated in the heart of Morayfield, our school provides education from Prep to Year 6 within a supportive framework of high expectation. Opening in 1873, our school has a proud history, strong community and is committed to the high standard of education for all students. I am honoured to be the Principal of Morayfield State School and lead a fantastic team of teaching and support staff who endeavour to attain the ideals as stated in our school mission statement.All students at Morayfield State School are encouraged to demonstrate our school values of Be Safe, Be Respectful and Be Responsible in their actions, every day in every way in every location. Our school motto of 'Aim High' is something that we support every student to do throughout their learning journey.Our mission is to work in partnership with students, parents and the wider community to ensure that all students receive a quality education appropriate to their individual needs in a safe and supportive learning environment.
About the Role
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Provide effective and efficient general administrative support to work units.
- Provide reception services including receiving telephone calls and visitors to the work unit and where necessary directing these to appropriate areas.
- Sort, distribute and track correspondence and provide a follow up service where necessary.
- Operate and maintain a range of office equipment.
- Assist with ordering, stock control, records and file management and financial management.
