In this pivotal role, you will assist and mentor our Olympic Dam onsite team, supporting the implementation of our comprehensive health and safety management system.- The role is an autonomous role working within a geographically spread team where you will get to enjoy a great work-life balance with our even-time 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster, 12-hour shifts. (15:13 roster) Flights are included from Adelaide airport to Roxby Downs (return).**Benefits**

**Duties include (but are not limited to)**:
- Lead audits, incident investigations and actively drive SHEQ improvements strategies.
- Actively develop and maintain effective working relationships with our clients, subcontractors and Ventia colleagues.
- Assist in the planning of assurance audits. Conduct the audits and inspections in line with assurance plans within specified timeframes. Development of SMART actions.
- Conduct reviews of the operational risks at a site level.
- Provide guidance and support to the Site Manager and Ventia team in implementing SHEQ processes and procedures.
**Skills and experience**
- Minimum Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Experience in mining; quarry work or drilling an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in a field-based safety advisor role.
- Qualifications and experience in conducting and leading incident investigations -ICAM.
- Understanding of safety risks and control processes.
- Onsite training and assessment experience.
- Implementing change and driving continual improvement with cross functional stakeholders.
