**About the Opportunity**:
Ventia has a contract to provide prisoner movement and in-court management services by the Government of South Australia. The contract covers the movement and management of prisoners and young detainees between prisons, courts and other places determined by the state.
We are seeking a Full time SHEQ Advisor to deliver on the SHEQ requirements of the program utilising systems and process to foster an integrated approach to SHEQ management in delivering on legal, contractual and business requirements. This is a permanent fulltime role, based in Cavan.

**Responsibilities are but are not limited to**
- Promote an organisational culture where incidents, hazards and opportunities for improvement are reported, discussed and addressed quickly and efficiently
- Develop and implement SHEQ management plans across the project
- Work with line management to ensure that effective injury management plans are developed and implemented to ensure a speedy and safe return to work for all injured employees
- Undertake investigations in relation to SHEQ related incidents or issues and provide recommendations through the contract leadership team

**Experiences & Qualifications**
- Relevant qualifications in a safety environment quality, or equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation preferably in SHEQ
- Formal training in incident investigation
- Safety, Environmental and Quality Auditor qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in safety / environment / quality or relevant industry role
- Detailed knowledge of SHEQ legislation, regulatory requirements and ISO standards within a utility or infrastructure project environment
