Our Maintenance Technician will work in our Sustainable Utility Services team maintaining our wastewater treatment facilities, or what we call Local Water Centres (LWCs). The LWCs are water distribution (both recycled and drinking) and sewerage networks which directly impact the communities with whom we partner.

**In this role you will**:

- Carry out and document preventive and corrective maintenance on our 7 LWCs including pumps, valves, blowers, air compressors
- Provide input into continual improvement of preventive maintenance tasks.
- Supervise contractors and suppliers.
- Assist the Scheme Implementation team with commissioning and transition to operations of Local Water Centres
- Be part of the on-call Operations team (by roster) for responding to faults and alarms.
- Be hands on and in the thick of it during storm/emergency times
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of relevant documentation, including procedures, Safe Work Method Statements, operation and maintenance manuals, etc.

**What will you bring to the role?**
- 10+ years’ experience with maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment, including pumps, compressors and blowers.
- Drivers Licence
- Mechanical trade essential, dual trade mechanical and electrical preferred but if you don’t have electrical trade then you have an connection/disconnection licence or the ability to obtain
- General understanding of some water and wastewater treatment processes or the utilities sector preferred
- Positive team-orientated attitude, working collaboratively as well as autonomously in a small enterprise environment.
- Willingness to drive/commute to our operational sites and office
