**Who we're looking for**:
The **IT Service Transition Manager** plays a critical role in ensuring that new or updated IT services are delivered smoothly and successfully to end-users, with mínimal disruption to existing services. This role ensures that new or modified services and products are delivered into Service Operation in a secure, supportable & accepted standard covering both foreseeable and abnormal situations, that can be supported in the event of failures and/or errors. The Service Transition Manager is responsible for validating service handover to allow operational use.

This role will see you:

- Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure that service transition activities align with the overall IT Project Management framework and stage gates as well as change management and incident management processes.
- Ensuring that service transition processes are well understood by all relevant IT stakeholders and are fully embedded into all required processes.
- Continuously improving service transition processes and procedures to increase efficiency, effectiveness and awareness.
- Collaborating with project teams including those involved in development and testing to ensure that new or updated services are fully designed, tested, and documented.
- Support the identification and management of risks that may affect the successful transition of new or updates services. Change Management, Overseeing and controlling changes to ensure mínimal impact to IT Services.

Key Skillset Required:

- Strong knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and IT service management processes, including change management, release management, and incident management.
- Understanding of project management methodologies and experience working within project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Able to work flexible hours with teams across various global locations and time zones, including earlier or later start time if work requires.
