Reporting to the Director Clinical Care, you will lead and manage the GMHBA clinical governance framework, including having oversight of compliance with the end-to-end governance process and associated documentation, reporting on clinical risk and governance matters, and promoting clinical excellence and continuous improvement. You will be accountable for supporting the day-to-day quality assurance and safety requirements withing GMHBA clinical settings. You will develop, implement and/or monitor clinical governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory standards, best practices, and quality improvement initiatives. This will include performing second line defence duties including developing and updating the clinical governance framework. You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders across the business to develop and update clinical guidelines and pathways based on the latest research and evidence based practices, to ensure their effective implementation across the Heath Services Network.

You will have 5 years experience as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, or similar experience in a multidisciplined clinical setting. With experience in health services legislation, operational clinical environments you will have knowledge of the AHPRA or relevant registration, unrestricted and or unlimited work entitlements. This will include a demonstrated understanding of the principles of clinical governance, patient safety and clinical quality improvement and incident management processes. Experience in the coordination of operational health related businesses and /or clinical teams responsible for health programs and/or clinical practice would be highly desirable. Tertiary qualifications in Nursing would be highly desirable.

You will be known for your strong stakeholder engagement skills and attention to detail, including your ability to comprehensively analysis clinical data and generate insights.. You are known for your ability to effectively engage and influence across an organization and confidently present complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders including the executive level, including the preparation and presentation of analytical reports.
