**About the role**
As the AML Remediation Manager you will be instrumental in driving forward a pipeline of remediation for operational projects, working closely to support Great Southern Bank’s AML capability uplift. The role is responsible for driving and leading a small team of analysts and issue management specialists across varied remediation activity. The Manager role will be responsible in leading and developing the team while managing critical analysis, documentation and review of issues. You will also be responsible for conducting quality assessments and assurance against process execution, providing documented finding and insights for issue closure. You will work closely with key senior stakeholders to inform actions, decisions and compliance.
**About you**
- To be successful in this role you will have the below skills, knowledge, and experience:
- Demonstrated experience and understanding (3-5 years) of AML/CTF compliance and risk frameworks, and, KYC methodology, preferable across back-office operational banking or financial services;
- Experience in a similar role, specifically working and supporting remediation activity;
- Passionate about providing commercial support and business solutions;
- Practical and tactical while keeping the big picture and organisational impact front of mind;
- Organised, love working at pace, managing multiple projects, processes and people;
- Stimulate an environment where planning, prioritisation, deadline management and streamlined workflows are collaborative, inclusive yet effective and efficient work practices are the norm;
- Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness;
- A team player, aware of your weaknesses and delivering based on your strengths; and,
- Demonstrating integrity, consistently being honest and transparent in all you do.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
