**About the Role**:
We have exciting opportunities for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our Smithfield team as our client continues to expand their operations. If you have a background in pumps, generators, and plant maintenance, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Performing engine diagnostics, mechanical repairs, and servicing
- Inspecting and assessing returned fleet for any damages
- Connecting and testing pumping equipment
- Documenting servicing information and maintaining relevant records
- Undertaking ad-hoc servicing, installations, and repairs as required, including fieldwork
- Reading manuals, schematics, and interpreting parts information for repairs

Skills and Experience Required: Essential:

- Current C-class Driver's License
- Relevant Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting
- White Card (if work on site is involved)

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Mechanical Fitter: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- White Card (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
