**About the role**

This role is located at St Gabriel School for children with special needs.The Coordinator is responsible for providing and overseeing programs for children with a disability aged 5 - 18 years in Before School Care, After School Care and vacation care.

This is a part time position, 27 hours per week.

**Duties**
- Being the Nominated Supervisor and leading staff in the provision of a high quality OSHC and Vacation Care service
- Regularly evaluating the program to ensure it caters for the interests and needs of school age children and meets the requirements of the 'My Time - Our Place' Framework;
- Advising families about the program, policies and procedures when required;
- Where appropriate take on the role of Educational Leader within the service, provide guidance, and support to the team on best practice programming;
- Working on administrative tasks and efficient day to day operation of the service.

**Requirements**:

- Qualifications or in working in outside school hours care;
- Relevant experience working with children with additional /special needs will be highly regarded
- Skills and experience in team leadership;
- Completion of the "Identify & Respond to Children and Young People at Risk" certificate;
- Knowledge of legislation and regulations relevant to Outside School Hours Care and the National Quality Framework as it applies to Outside School Hours Care;
- Current First Aid certification/CPR certification/Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- NDIS Worker check
- Working With Children Check
