As a result, we are looking for a dynamic and driven **Data Management Analyst** to join this exciting and bold journey and be part of the transformation to be an insights driven organisation.

**About the role**:
As a Data Analyst you will liaise with critical internal & external stakeholders, conduct complex data requirements gathering sessions and create data solutions and reporting for new and current regulatory obligations.

You will take ownership and be able to drive solutions with stakeholders to ensure each data product delivers intended business value and be expected to look for continuous improvement and innovation in processes and insights driven by business need and advancements in data science and technology. You will need to be able to collaborate with a diverse set of geographically diverse teams to achieve success in this role.
- Support the identification and definition of critical data elements, including tracing data lineage and ownership, assessing data quality controls, and documenting the outcomes in our enterprise data management tool
- Managing and uplifting existing business glossaries, data dictionaries and lineage, including capturing changes as initiatives modify data flows and controls, keeping our data management repository in line with actual business data movements
- Enhancing documentation, processes, and templates to facilitate embedding effective data management activities across Zurich Australia
- Attending Enterprise Data Management working groups and prioritising upcoming requirements.

**Important to your success**:

- 3+ years in a similar analytical role, ideally with a focus on supporting a financial services business (Insurance industry experience would be a bonus).
- Experience with data governance and metadata management tools (i.e. Informatica AXON & EDC)
- A high level of experience in building, maintaining reports and data visualisations (Alteryx, BI tools with Power BI preferred) and familiarity with agile working practices and Atlassian products such as Jira and Confluence.
- Ability to own and create automated data processes to enable data quality framework implementation.
- Strong communication skills, to work with all levels of stakeholders, quickly build relationships and convey the benefits of the data governance program
- Capability to jump between tasks and responsibilities, as priorities shift in a rapidly changing environment
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

The following skills and experience will be highly regarded:

- Knowledge of regulatory reporting within financial services
- Knowledge of financial products
