**The Service**

**KU John J. Carroll Preschool, located in Surry Hills **is a lovely two room preschool with a special interest in community and parent partnerships. Tucked away in the leafy streets of Surry Hills and easily accessible via all public transport.

**The **Role**

We are looking for an Early Childhood Educator with a **completed **Certificate III qualification who values partnering with families, is keen to further develop their skills and wants to join a passionate, capable and dedicated team.

The ideal applicant will be a strong team player, flexible and can build and maintain positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

**On offer is a part time position working 7.6 hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during preschool term time, on a permanent basis.**

**To be considered for this role, it is essential you have**:

- Work rights to enable you to work in Australia
- A valid NSW Employee Working with Children Check
- A recognised Certificate III in Children's Services qualification or similar as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Quality Authority (ACECQA)
- Child Protection training and knowledge of current legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children
- Sound understanding of the NQF, EYLF, Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
