**About the role**

The PR Specialist sits within the Media & Communications team in the Cancer Control Campaigns and Communications division providing PR and media expertise to help implement media and communications activity on major national social marketing and behaviour change campaigns.

Key tasks include contributing to and executing the earned media strategy for major campaigns, developing earned media materials, briefing spokespeople and talent, executional logistics, leading a team of junior communications experts in converting earned media coverage, and overseeing earned media coverage reporting.

**About you**

Essential to this role is excellent organisational skills, strong understanding of the media landscape and ability to think strategically about earned media activity to ensure strong outcomes for campaigns, and the ability to work as part of a team to deliver tasks on time.
