**_Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities _**
- To deliver high quality support to our Client in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered.
- Communicate effectively to our Client, Team & Coordinators
- Communicate new ideas and participate in collaboration for our Client’s needs.
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive.
- Provide personal cares, and support with cleaning, cooking and support our Client to engage with her community.

**_To be Successful you must _**
- Be a mature minded, experienced, Disability Support Worker, to work for a lady living in Raceview.
- Have experience working with Clients with spinal cord injury.
- Have manual handling experience.
- Have experience with bowel and catheter care.
- Have life experience in varying aspects.
- Be 100% reliable and flexible to fill sick leave when required.
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Client.
- Have availability to cover a variety of shifts over a 24/7 period. The need for 24/7 shifts will reduce overtime and be replaced by a range of day shifts.
- Hold CPR and First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Hold Yellow and Blue Cards (or have recently applied) or the NDIS Worker Screening card.
- Hold Certificate III in Disability (or willingness to obtain)
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Catheter care: 1 year (preferred)
- Bowel Care: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Card or Yellow Card (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
