Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Project Engineer, with a background in Electrical and/or Control Systems engineering, to** join our Project Delivery Group (PDG)** **in Western Australia**_._**

This position will be supporting a world** class Lithium Hydroxide** facility south of Perth, Western Australia. As one of the largest Lithium Hydroxide sites in the southern hemisphere, the Kemerton Expansion Project supports the transition from fossil fuels to clean energy. **Our vision** at Hatch is to be part of the **solution** that supports a **sustainable environment** for future generations.**_ _**

**The Role**

Reporting to the Project and Delivery Manager, you will coordinate overall delivery of electrical packages within the Kemerton Expansion Project scope of work, including delivery to safety, cost, schedule, and quality objectives; coordinate with other Project Areas, including engineering, procurement and contracts teams to contribute to overall project outcomes.

This role is pivotal for the coordination of change, risk and issues management for the Project, including the management of progress and costs, initiating Project Change Notices, monitoring risks affecting the Project and corresponding risk controls, and preparing response plans to project deviations.

- **
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
- Client focused and the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships
- Extensive instrument and controls experience, (Emerson PLC experinece is preferred)
- Project management competencies including the reporting and management of package costs, schedule and integration with the wider project
- 7+ years industry experience, preferably with control systems in the mining industry
- Previous site experience preferred.
