**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an** Advanced Trainee** in the **Chronic Pain Unit.**

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Providing clinical services of the highest possible standard to patients referred to the Chronic Pain Unit both in terms of individual performance and by contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to delivery of care.
- Active involvement in teaching & supervision of junior medical staff and medical students, as well as supporting allied health and nursing staff in the clinical environment.
- Conducting of research and clinical audits.
- Working efficiently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-months / or 6-months allocation to Advanced Trainee Chronic Pain will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills, and capabilities.

**About You**

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
