**About NDIA**
The NDIA is a government agency responsible for the implementation and administration of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), which provides support to Australians with disability to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
As an Internal Review Officer with the NDIA, you will play a critical role in ensuring that the NDIS is delivered fairly, transparently, and in compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
- Working with participants to gather information regarding the nature and context of review requests, informing participants and their representatives about decisions, reviews and the appeals process.
- Undertaking evidence-based decision making as prescribed in the NDIS Act, NDIS rules, Operational Guidelines and NDIA policies.
- Monitoring and managing caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within set timeframes.
- Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes, and systems.

**About you**:
- Experience in conducting administrative reviews, preferably in a government or regulatory context
- A strong understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines, particularly in relation to disability support services
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make evidence-based decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information to a range of stakeholders
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Must be an Australian citizen
